The tax money to pay to enforce these laws -- er, to try to enforce these laws, since they mostly go without enforcement, thank God -- is far higher than the cost of either security people or secure software. But the corporate lobbyists and their Congressional friends don't care about that; they are not footing the bill. It's suckers like you and me that foot the bill for all the time wasted tracking down crackers, alleged crackers, false leads, and people the cops want to harrass for entirely different reasons.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
